Through the depth of our expertise and quality of our products we strive to improve the quality of life for pets and their owners. Our commitment to animals goes well beyond that, and since its inception, Chuck & Don’s has been involved in a wide variety of community-based initiatives.

Since entering the Colorado market in late January, 2011, Chuck & Don’s has demonstrated its commitment to pets and animal welfare by participating and/or contributing to a variety of events and organizations including the Furry Scurry, Taggin’ Waggin’, Pura Vida Pur-A-Thon, Pheasants Forever, Rocky Mountain Dockdogs, Lucky Mutt Strut, Freedom Service Dogs, CatFest, and more.

Chuck & Don's supports local animal shelters and rescues by hosting in-store adoption events with the Front Range German Shepherd Group, Humane Society of the South Platte Valley and the Dumb Friends League.

Hands-on involvement is very important to us and Team Members are encouraged to help out local organizations. We have initiated many ways to express this tradition through a wide variety of modes and venues:

Events, both in-store and in the community, provide free instruction clinics, adoption events and featured rescue organizations benefiting both charities and the public. In-store Adoptions Chuck & Don's partners with local animal rescue organizations and most of our stores showcase 1 - 3 cats available for adoption. We also host many adoption days throughout the year. See a list of stores and their corresponding adoption organizations.

Holiday Paw Prints Chuck & Don's stores collect customer donations of $1 per paw print. All donations go to animal rescues that help and care for homeless pets. Our donations in funding and volunteer/community involvement at both the corporate and store level improves the lives of thousands of homeless animals a year.

We look forward to building new relationships and community partnerships in Colorado in the months and years to come!
