| Right & above: This is my blue and gold macaw, Ritz. He is about 2 yrs old now. I knew I wanted a BIG bird but had never had one before. I went in search of a cockatoo and ended up with Ritz. We bonded the first time we met. There was something about this bird that I just had to have him. He knows over 150 words but most of the time when we are out in public or someone comes over he pretends he can't talk at all. He will knock on doors and yell MOM to try and find me. Most people think he is the funniest when he does this. He will also RACE me down the hall to try and get in the bathroom first so I won't leave him out. He LOVES showers. In the one picture of him in the kennel, he is SO curious that he always gets into things. I have ferrets, hedgehog, chinchillas, dogs and cats and ALL the animals are scared of Ritz. :)
I'm glad I found Ritz and I'm glad we are learning together on how to take care of large birds.

Left: This is Sasha and her "Auntie Beth" from the Elk River Chuck and Don's store.
When mom goes away "Auntie Beth" takes care of me and I get SO tired because I get to go to work and visit all the people there and then we get to go to the FARM. I'm a King Charles Cavalier. I had pneumonia SO bad when my mom first got me that I almost died. I only had ONE lung that worked. Everyone always asks "Auntie Beth" how much it is to adopt me and she always says, "You don't have enough money to adopt her!"
You will almost always see me in a dress and ribbons in my hair but "Aunti Beth" didn't want me to dress up because I was to go play on the FARM. This picture is right before mom came home and "Auntie Beth" had me groomed.
