Here is a picture of my 1 yr old Springer Spaniel, Buster, and his foster brother Robbie, who is a 10 year old rescue with Retrieve A Golden of Minnesota. (Robbie has since been adopted!!!)

Hello!
I was looking at your website and saw the cute pictures of all the dogs and cats. I have a funny picture of my cat Panther and my friends dog Skittles. You would think that the cat would be more afraid of the dog, but not in this case. My cat Panther didnt really like her dog (the picture explains everything!) We caught him at just the right time! Needless to say, he hasnt seen Skittles ever since. Just wanted to share! Thanks for all the great products and services you offer at your stores!

Shiloh is a two-year-old Sheltie, fostered and adopted through Minnesota Sheltie Rescue. Shiloh came from a puppy mill via a pet store, and is fearful and unsocialized because of it, along with having health issues that are common in puppy mill dogs. He is coming along as he gains trust and confidence. We love Chuck and Don's because you do not sell pets of any kind in your stores, and are supportive of local rescue organizations. Shiloh likes the high-quality food that you sell, and your staff is always accommodating when we are looking for a product. Thank you.

This is Bailey with his new kitty, Mabel, on her first night home. Although Bailey has 2 older cats, Mabel at age 8 weeks, was pretty interesting.

Mabel now at age 11 months, has a best friend within Bailey. After Bailey ran hard all weekend at an Agility Trial, Bailey takes a well earned nap in bed. Mabel curled up close to her big buddy!

This is Stella. She is a 4 year old Chinchilla. She likes raisons and taking naps. She also likes to chew on her wooden house.

This is Jake a.k.a. Jakey. He was adopted in August of 2004 from Gemini All Breed Rescue in Madison, MN. He waited three years for a forever family and we consider ourselves so fortunate to have him. 80 lbs of pure labrador muscle with a soul as sweet and loving as they come is our Jake. He loves to howl with the train whistles and his bark has made everyone smile (it is so distinctive). He has become instantly protective of us and has soaked up all the love we shower on him. Jake is a hugger. He leans his head over your shoulder and presses in and gives those full body hugs that a true dog lover understands. Most importantly he has become the inspiration and the mascot for a rescue website entitled: Contrary to Ordinary: The Black Pearls of the Dog World (www.blackpearldogs.com) that began in November 2004. It is a site dedicated to dogs just like Jake who have been the victims of misinformation and misunderstanding and promotes their appreciation and adoption in rescues and shelters. We couldn't be prouder.

Thank you for the opportunity to submit the photo of my precious GSD. Yeager is almost 3 years old and has his CGC and is a Certified Pet Therapy Dog. He is a wonderful companion and brightens the residents lives by going to Meridian Manor in Wayzata for visits. He has been taught at an early age not to jump - therefore we have to lift him into the vehicle and on to the bed. As you will see in the photo - he thought maybe it was time to get on the bed. He knows both German and English commands and has recently learned how to wave goodbye. He is a complete joy!

This is Toby, one of my five ferrets. It's very hard to get a good picture of an animal that never sits still, so even though he may not be my most interesting ferret, he is certainly the most photogenic! The local ferret shelter recommends three brands of high quality cat food that can not be found at the local superstores, and I enjoy the personalized atmosphere at your Lake Calhoun store.
