Every winter my springer licks her stomach and gets a large red spot. Looking to see if there is a supplement we can add to her diet..she eats nutri-source since we got her 4 years ago.

Thank you for contacting me regarding the issue you have with your springer.

Since it seems that the dog only has this issue in the winter time I would try a few things for dry skin. The first is you could add a fish oil supplement to the dogs diet to help with the skin, or in the winter you could switch to a fish based food. 

The second thing is we have products that you can put on the spot that can relieve itching and make it taste bad so the dog will not lick it. Finally try using an oatmeal based shampoo when she gets a bath, it is good for dry skin.
