I would like to adopt another dog. Have one now 4 years old herder shepherd mix. She is very territorial and doesn't even like that my husband and I "kiss". She can be soooooooo nice most of the time. I am worried about adopting but would love another pup any ideas?

This type of situation can be a very hard one to deal with as some pets become very territorial of their owners and their homes. I would recommend working with an obedience instructor that can spend time in your home working with you and your pet. Two of the common instructors that I have heard of are Bark Busters and All Breed Obedience. Going this route will allow you to work with the dog and see if adding another dog to your home can be a legitimate option.
